i just got my 94 n/a 300zx a week and a half a go, the car had been sucking gas, so i had scheduled an appointment to have it checked out today. well i was driving to school today and the engine check light came on, so i slowed down just to be safe, then i lost pressure in the clutch and smoke started to imminate from the a/c vents. so immidietly wrestlefd the car to the side of the road ( i had lost power steering and power brakes) and got out of the car when i saw a flame shoot up from the hood. i ran off and called 911, but within seconds the whole front end became "involved" as one firefighter put it. when they did show up a couple minutes later the firemen put it out. the damage was not as bad as i thought but the engine is destroyed and so is the whole front end. but it did have a 60 day warranty from the dealer so i will get my money back. i will have to handle the rest when i get out of school. so much for my first car. james
